Strain Review: TGA Subcool Seeds ‘Jilly Bean’

Jilly Bean

We started a ‘Strain Review‘ segment on the JDR Show sponsored by InHarmony Wellness in Windsor, CO and the first strain up is the TGA Subcool Seeds ‘Jilly Bean strain.  You can get the strain in Colorado at InHarmony Wellness or online if you are out of the State and not a Medical Marijuana user at Attitude Seedbank.  You can be sure you will usually find ‘The Best Of’ strains in this segment because Derek is responsible for bringing in the weeks nug.  And, we all know how he doesn’t mess around with anything less than the best.

We all enjoyed the strain and out of the jar it has an “Orange Candy’ smell to it, unlike almost any other strain we’ve had the privilege to come across.  A very nice relaxing high for people that need anxiety, or pain relief.

**On a note with Jilly Bean from TGA/Subcool Seeds. After seeing it grow and being around it I would say it is on the same smell spectrum as Sour D in the sense it is potent and not a ninja. Its about as permeating as the Sour D is, just INSANELY more sweet. Like jelly beans and pineapple. Not for those tryiing to raise ninjas if yah know what I mean.**

Thanks to TGA Subcool Seeds and  Attitude Seedbank for the print review:

TGA Subcool Seeds Jilly Bean: Jill was lucky enough to be gifted this amazing Orange Skunk and they day we smoked the finished bud we knew we had to outcross it with our Space Queen male. You don’t really have to be a master breeder to figure out Orange and Pineapple Mango will be a good combination. The resulting outcross is remarkably stable and is close to a 50/50 representation of the parents. Topped only once Jilly Bean grows into a nice short bush with lots of side branching and multi heads. Flavours range from Orange, Tango, Candy, Mango, and Apple. The cross works really well in SOG or SCROG.. Very large stems and huge top colas make this an easy strain to grow in any medium.

We had 5 females in our bud room and 4 could be clones they are so similar, same height same growth speed and all have that Dank Orange smell. Very good mood elevator and general euphoria are experienced while high on this cross. Jilly Bean cannabis seeds produce lime green with vibrant orange hairs with temperature drops, it can turn a deep burgundy to maroon.
