Persecution of an Enlightened Generation – Random Morning Thoughts

Denver probation says I cannot smoke Marijuana without a valid card. The wait for a card to arrive is currently 14 weeks long in Colorado. How would they suggest the system better protect those of us caught in the middle? And, those who could possibly be wronged by law enforcement while waiting on a card, while the State refuses to acknowledge Medical Marijuana is exploding and needs a bigger staff to handle the legal means by which people are allowed to use Marijuana. They certainly have an excess of $1 Million dollars from reg fees to expand the program. They are failing to operate the program in an effective way of means and I challenge them to correct it. Even one person caught up and sent to jail for a night because of a lack of physical registration card is unacceptable.
No affirmative defense in Denver probation for people like myself and no thought as to why I’m using pot but that I’m abusing it comes from these people with probation and law enforcement. My only option is to hopefully pay off the remaining fine and probation fee that has totaled almost $4,000 and petition for early release. Which I am told if I pay I should be allowed to do. I have done nothing to violate probation and have followed every last one of their rules handed to me. Including spending time with some of the worst people I have ever had the displeasure to be around, and for the rest of my life being labeled a serious criminal, and a felon. To all this we have the Drug War to thank. If you think it doesn’t affect you, you are certainly wrong. And, I challenge you to argue that educating Americans is only worth a third of what is spent on the Drug War. Doesn’t makes sense at all and it certainly affects you. Where the hell did we go so afar from the intended goals of this country that we allowed this sort of misappropriation to happen. Its mind boggling. I don’t get it and what will make these people understand? I’m fighting for the health and freedom of those like me!
